Ayur Herbals’ Waxing Range: Get your body summer ready! (Part 1)

Ayur Herbals Hot and Cold Wax India

As summer is right around the corner, that summer body is not too far away. And what better way to remove hair than with Ayur Herbals’ Waxing Range? But first, let’s shed some light on why waxing may be the way to go this summer:

  1. One round of waxing lasts between 3 - 6 weeks depending on each person’s follicle turn over. This is because waxing removes the hair from the root instead of cutting it off of the surface of the skin. Thus, the follicle has to recover to grow the hair again, which takes much longer than shaving or using depilatory creams as they take hair off of the skin’s surface.
    2. Upon regular waxing, the hair becomes much weaker and finer, ultimately less noticeable upon regrowth. As the root and thus, grip of the hair on the follicle is weaker, this enables lesser pain when unrooting the hair from the follicle. After a while, the follicles may be so worn out that the hair stops growing back completely, leading to lesser regrowth.
    3. When you shave, sometimes as the razor glides against your skin, there’s irritation caused by the friction between the razor and your skin, especially if you have sensitive skin. This is only aggravated as you shave again after 2-3 days. Waxing on the other hand, while not pain-free, allows your skin to relax for 3 - 6 weeks before the next round.
    4. Waxing also acts as an exfoliant that removes tan, grime and dead cells from the skin’s surface, rejuvenating the skin in the process.
    5. Lastly, waxing completely skips over the possibility of cuts, which is especially advantageous if the area you’re waxing is sensitive or hard to get to.
    6. Waxing is also better suited to the environment and your pockets. Instead of buying reusable plastic razors again and again, a strain on the environment and your pocket, you can simply opt for waxing. Waxing can be done with the help of paper or cloth strips and usually at increasing intervals as hair growth is slower and sparser with regular waxing.

Now that you’re familiar with the advantages of waxing, let’s explore the features of Ayur Herbals’ Hot & Cold Waxes: Lemon + Rose Petals + Sugar

Made with the goodness of lemon, sugar and rose petal extracts, these waxes get rid of tanning and exfoliate the skin while giving a soothing finish respectively. The vitamin C in lemon works to even out your skin tone, the sugar extracts unclog pores and exfoliate dead skin cells away and the rose petal extracts soothe skin after the waxing procedure. These ingredients also help slow down the regrowth of hair. Available both as a hot and cold wax, they are suitable for a hot waxing session at your home or a cold one while travelling.
